A life-changing speech – this is what I can say about the oration of Steve Jobs, in honor of the Stanford graduates in 2005. Nothing so special, but really amazing, something that touches your soul deep inside, if you can grasp the meaning of it. It’s a story about life and death, about how everyone should think about his/her life because we are not here forever… Few people really realize this, but it’s true for all of us. See the philosophy of one great entrepreneur about life, success, failure, and happiness.
Steve Jobs never graduated from college. However, this didn’t stop him from becoming one of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time. This even helped according to him. “It’s impossible to connect the dots, looking forward, but it’s very clear looking backwards”. Everyone has his path in his/her life, and he or she should just follow it, no matter what the price is. “Don’t be afraid to chase your dreams”.
“Everybody’s time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life! Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of others’ people thinking… and most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know, what you truly want to become.”
The only way to do great things is to do what you love. If you can’t find it, keep looking… It’s somewhere there… And never give up!
This is one of the main reasons for Steve Jobs‘ great success!
Who Is Steve Jobs?
Steve Jobs is one of the most well-known and controversial figures in the tech industry. His vision and creativity have helped shape the world that we live in, and his legacy will continue to have an enormous impact for generations to come.
Jobs was born in San Francisco, California in 1955, he eventually graduated from Reed College in Oregon. After a brief period of interest in the counterculture, Jobs joined Hewlett-Packard and worked there for a while. Then he co-founded the notorious company Apple Inc.
Throughout his career, Jobs’ passion and commitment to innovating technology seemed to know no bounds. From the Macintosh computer to the iPod and iPhone, Jobs was a creative genius who was ahead of his time. He was also a leader in digital music, creating iTunes which revolutionized how people purchased and listened to music. In addition to his innovation and success with Apple, Jobs also created a new device category with the iPad.
Jobs’ commitment to excellence and quality was unrivaled. Many tech companies and executives followed his example in order to achieve excellence. Some of these people included Tim Cook, who worked for Jobs for 14 years, and Jony Ive, who designed many of the products we know today.
Unfortunately, Jobs’ remarkable career met an early end due to a long battle with pancreatic cancer, which he eventually lost in 2011. Despite his passing, Jobs’ timeless legacy will live on for many years. He changed the way people think about technology and the kind of products we use on a daily basis. His accomplishments will have a lasting impact on our modern world.
